Funeral Service for Grace Marie Robertson

Obituary

Grace Marie Robertson, age 78, of Cullman, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 11, 1945, in Cullman, Alabama, to Tilford and Ruby Barbee.

Grace was a lifelong resident of Cullman and a faithful member of Duck Creek Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering faith in God.

Grace is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Dolton Robertson I; her brother, Clinton Barbee; and her sister, Ann Hopkins.

She is survived by her two sons, Dolton (Lisa) Robertson II of Cullman and Jeff (Stacey) Robertson of Birmingham; her six grandchildren, Kelsi (Paul) Harrigill of Cullman, Buddy (Katie) Robertson of Birmingham, Charli (Jay) Schuler of Cullman, Ashley (Andrew) Frey of Birmingham, Jeff (Chelcee) Robertson II of Cullman, and Cydni (Noah) Parker of Birmingham; her 11 great-grandchildren, Carter, Heidi, Olivia, Dolton, Leah, Charlotte, Jameson, Blake, Della, Walt, and Ivey; her brother, Gregory Barbee of Cullman; and her sister, Mary Mooney of Huntsville.

Funeral Service

The funeral service for Grace Marie Robertson will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Duck Creek Baptist Church, located at 123 Main Street, Cullman, Alabama 35055. The Reverend Dolton Robertson II will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Duck Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Duck Creek Cemetery. A reception will be held at Temple Baptist Church, located at 456 7th Avenue, Cullman, Alabama 35055, following the burial.

Pallbearers

The pallbearers for the funeral service will be Dolton Robertson II, Jeff Robertson, Paul Harrigill, Buddy Robertson, Jay Schuler, Andrew Frey, Jeff Robertson II, and Noah Parker.

Honorary Pallbearers

The honorary pallbearers for the funeral service will be Carter Harrigill, Heidi Harrigill, Olivia Harrigill, Dolton Robertson, Leah Robertson, Charlotte Robertson, Jameson Robertson, Blake Frey, Della Frey, Walt Frey, and Ivey Parker.

Memorial Contributions

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Duck Creek Baptist Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
