Dracut, MA – Jean C. (Landry) Kennedy, 92, of Dracut, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Jean was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on [date of birth], the daughter of [father’s name] and [mother’s name]. She grew up in Haverhill and attended [high school name]. After graduating from high school, Jean worked for Wang Laboratory in Lowell, Massachusetts, and Ivy McKenzie in Boca Raton, Florida.

In 1952, Jean married Roger F. Kennedy. The couple lived in Dracut, Massachusetts, until moving to Delray Beach, Florida, in 1985. Roger passed away in May of 2003.

Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a loyal friend and a kind and caring person. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jean is survived by her children, Klare Thomas and her husband Robert, Laurie Crowley and her husband Kevin, Mark Kennedy, and Dara Jenkins and her husband Kelvin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael and Steven Thomas, Julie (Thomas) Wilson, and Kayla Crowley, and her great-grandchildren, Conor and Harrison Wilson.

Jean was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her lifelong friend, Anne O’Neill.

It being her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
