Born and raised in Vinemont, Alabama, Katheryn’s life revolved around her family. She was a loving and supportive wife to her husband, Bobby Ray Holland, who preceded her in death. Together, they raised a beautiful family of six children: Richard Holland, Teri Smith, Cindy Holland, Tony Stopera, Robert Holland, and Raymond Holland.
As a mother, Katheryn was deeply involved in her children’s lives. She was an active member of the PTA from her first child to her last, ensuring that they received the best possible education and support. Her unwavering love and guidance extended to her grandchildren, who adored her as the doting and nurturing grandmother.
Community Involvement
Beyond her family, Katheryn was deeply committed to giving back to her community. She dedicated countless hours to the Panama Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a devoted member. Her involvement in the church extended to serving as a Sunday school teacher, participating in various outreach programs, and volunteering for community events.
Katheryn’s passion for helping others also led her to volunteer at the Westpoint Senior Center Meals on Wheels program. Through this initiative, she provided nutritional support to elderly individuals in need, demonstrating her compassion and care for those around her.

Memorial Services
A homegoing celebration for Katheryn will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Panama Missionary Baptist Church, 1380 County Road 1224, Vinemont, AL 35179. A celebration of life memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
Katheryn will be laid to rest in the Panama Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. A separate celebration of life memorial service will also be held at a later time in Ohio.
