Margo J. Vincent, 75, of Waterville, Dies

Margo J. Vincent, 75, of Waterville, passed away on February 28th. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.

Margo was born in Skowhegan on January 10th, 1947, to John and Mary Vincent. She graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1965 and went on to attend the University of Maine at Farmington, where she earned a degree in education.

Margo taught elementary school for over 30 years in the Waterville school system. She was a dedicated and passionate educator who loved working with children. She was also an active member of her community, volunteering with several organizations, including the Waterville Public Library and the local soup kitchen.

Margo will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, John Vincent, of Waterville; her daughter, Mary Vincent, of Portland; and her three grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, and Michael.

A graveside burial will be held at Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan on July 31st at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margo’s memory to the Waterville Public Library or the local soup kitchen.
