Beloved Wife, Mother, and Sister Passes Away at 70

Maria Ortiz Vintimilla, a cherished member of the Burnsville community, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, at the age of 70. Surrounded by her loving family, she left this world to join her parents, Mesias and Alejandrina, who had gone before her.

A Life Dedicated to Family

Maria’s life was centered around her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Honorio Rivera, and a loving mother to her children, Honorio and Idalia. Her sister, Rogelia Ortiz Vintimilla, held a special place in her heart. Together, they shared countless memories and supported each other through life’s challenges.

A Community-Minded Spirit

Beyond her family, Maria was actively involved in her community. She volunteered her time to support local schools and organizations, always striving to make a difference in the lives of those around her. Her unwavering optimism and infectious laugh brought joy to many.

A Legacy of Love and Remembrance

Maria’s legacy will continue to live on through her family and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will be honored at a funeral service on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 11 AM at the Church of the Risen Savior in Burnsville. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, June 12, at White Funeral Home in Burnsville, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who have shown their love and support during this difficult time. Maria’s memory will forever be cherished in their hearts.
