Personal Life:

Mary Faye Bright Robinson, a beloved resident of Holly Pond, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, May 18, 2024, at the age of 79. Born in Marshall County, Alabama, on September 19, 1944, to the late William C. “Bill” and Mary Ruth Landers Bright, Faye lived a life filled with purpose and passion.

Professional Career and Interests:

An accomplished electronic technician, Faye dedicated many years to SCI. Together with her husband, Rickey, she shared a love for electronics, repairing broken gadgets and restoring them to working order. Their shared interests extended beyond technology to include gardening, crocheting, sewing, and embroidery.

Faith and Church Involvement:

Faith played a central role in Faye’s life. As a devoted member of Edison Chapel Church, she found solace and inspiration in the Word of God. Faye loved gospel music and found comfort in the praises sung to her Savior. Her passion for sharing her faith extended to welcoming anyone seeking to do good.

Love of Animals:

Faye had a deep affection for animals, especially her beloved dogs. She enjoyed their companionship and spent countless hours caring for them.

Marriage and Family:

Faye’s life was forever intertwined with her soulmate, Charles Rickey Robinson. After 59 years of marriage, Rickey passed away on April 16, 2024. Faye’s heart was filled with grief for her beloved, but her faith sustained her in the days that followed. On May 18, 2024, Faye joined her husband in heavenly bliss, fulfilling their promise of eternal togetherness.

Survived by:

Faye is survived by her three cousins, Johnny, Jan, and Delba; her friends Brian and Cathy, George, Dave and Michelle; and her cherished dog, Sherlock.

Visitation and Funeral Service:

A time of visitation will be held at the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., followed by funeral services. Pastor Daryl Bailey will be officiating. Burial will take place at Edison Chapel Cemetery. Holly Pond Funeral Home extends its deepest sympathies to the Robinson family and will continue to provide support during this difficult time.
