Michael embarked on his life’s journey on May 3, 1959, in Painesville, Ohio. He was the cherished son of Charles Jewett and Beatrice (Leasurer) Shahan. Growing up, Michael displayed a strong sense of patriotism and a deep desire to serve his country. True to his convictions, he proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he served with honor and distinction.

In 1994, Michael found the love of his life in Tracy. The two exchanged vows on July 10th, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Michael’s love for his family knew no bounds. He was a dedicated husband, a devoted father to Tonya, Mary, Michael Glenn, Deanna, Sabrina, John, Joey, Amber, Peggy, Christina, and Melissa, and an adoring grandfather to his 39 grandchildren. His home was always filled with the warmth of his presence and the sound of happy memories being made.

Michael spent his professional years behind the wheel of a truck, a career he pursued for an impressive four decades. He took immense pride in his work and was known for his unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence.

In honor of Michael’s unwavering Cleveland Browns fandom, attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite Browns attire.
