She attended Florence State Teachers College and embarked on a fulfilling career with the Federal government in Arlington, Virginia, and later at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Throughout her professional life, Carolyn’s dedication and meticulousness earned her the respect of her colleagues.
## A Generous Spirit and a Helping Hand
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Carolyn was known for her compassionate nature and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. She extended kindness without hesitation, always eager to make a difference in the lives of others.
Her dry sense of humor brought joy to those around her, and her infectious laugh filled many a room. Carolyn had a particular love for gardening, Alabama football, and trips to the beach. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her adored family.

After the passing of their mother, Carolyn devoted herself to caring for her father for many years. She was immensely proud of her siblings’ achievements and took immense joy in her role as a doting aunt to her nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Carolyn’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in her memory to Mountain Grove Congregational Christian Church.
