Dora “Dodie” Helen Moody, a beloved resident of Skowhegan, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 in the comfort of her
home.

Dodie was born in 1946 and grew up in a loving family in Skowhegan. She was known for her infectious laughter, her
warm heart, and her unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

Dodie spent her life making a positive impact on her community. She was an active volunteer and served on several
local boards and committees. She was also a devoted member of her church and enjoyed spending time with her fellow
parishioners.

Dodie’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She cherished every moment she had with her loved ones and made sure they knew how much she adored them.

Dodie’s legacy will live on through her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to
inspire and bring joy to all who knew her.

Funeral Arrangements

A wake will be held in Dodie’s honor on July 27th at 1 p.m. at the Smart and Edwards Funeral Home in Skowhegan. A
funeral service will follow at 2 p.m.

Interment will take place on July 29th at 1 p.m. at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.
