In Loving Memory of James G. Connor Jr.

James G. Connor Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2023, at the age of 75. James was born on March 15, 1948, in Boston, Massachusetts, to James and Mary Connor. He graduated from Boston College High School in 1966 and went on to earn a degree in business from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1970.

James began his career in the banking industry, where he quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a vice president at a major financial institution. In 1985, he left the banking world to start his own business, Connor & Associates, which provided consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses.

James was a successful businessman, but his true passion was his family. He married the love of his life, Susan, in 1972, and together they had three children, James, Sarah, and Michael. James was a devoted husband and father, and he cherished the time he spent with his family.

James was also an avid golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family on the golf course or out on the water. He was a member of the Oak Hill Country Club and the Winchester Golf Club.

James was a kind and compassionate man who always put others before himself. He was a friend to everyone he met, and he always had a smile on his face. James will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

James is survived by his wife, Susan; his children, James, Sarah, and Michael; his grandchildren, James, Sarah, and Michael; his brother, John; and his sister, Mary.

Services

A memorial service will be held at the Winchester Golf Club on August 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
