Hanceville Mourns the Loss of Beloved Veteran and Community Figure, Kenneth Alloway

Kenneth Leon Alloway Jr., U.S. Navy Veteran and Faithful Community Member, Passes Away at 63

The Hanceville community is mourning the loss of Kenneth Leon Alloway Jr., a beloved resident who passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial service for Mr. Alloway will be announced at a later date.

A Life of Service and Dedication

Born in New Jersey on April 25, 1961, to Kenneth Leon Alloway Sr. and Elizabeth Marie Ellis Alloway, Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Navy, where he traveled extensively and gained invaluable experiences. His patriotic spirit remained with him throughout his life.

As a faithful member of Bethlehem Methodist Church, Kenneth was deeply involved in serving the Lord and his fellow Christians. His unwavering commitment to his faith inspired those around him.

A Devoted Family Man

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Dian Tucker Alloway; two sons, Brett Alloway (Krystle) and Michael Alloway (Ashley); and step-daughter, Michelle Warden (Dewayne). He also leaves behind his siblings, Keith Alloway (Kerry) and Wayne Alloway; sisters, Tammy Tomassi (Frank) and Patti Hunter (Ed); and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Kenneth’s absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered as a true patriot, a devoted family man, and a dedicated member of his community.

Funeral Arrangements and Legacy

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Alloway family during this time of grief. Funeral arrangements will be announced as soon as they become available.

In memory of Kenneth Alloway, donations may be made to Bethlehem Methodist Church or to a veterans’ support organization of your choice.
