William H. “Bill” Cody was born on January 4, 1950, in Augusta, Maine, to Maurice and Lucienne M. (Betit) Cody. Bill spent his early years in Augusta, where he attended school and developed a love for his community.

After graduating from Cony High School, Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972. Upon his return home, Bill continued his education, earning two Associate’s Degrees in Business and Accounting.

A Devoted Husband and Father

Bill’s life took a special turn when he met the love of his life, Elizabeth. They were married on June 11, 1987, and together they welcomed two beautiful children into the world: Christina L. Cody in 1987 and William H. Cody II in 1989. Bill was a dedicated husband and father, always putting his family first.

Honoring a Hero

Bill served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force. His unwavering patriotism and dedication to his fellow soldiers left a lasting legacy.
