Life and Family

Shelba passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 36 years, Richard Wayne Fendley, and children were present.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ethel McClendon Hogeland, and her son, Richard Louie Fendley.

Shelba is survived by her husband, Richard; children Sheila McDonald Sobotka, Donna (Robert) Burgess, Jerry (Sonja) Fendley, Terry (Janna) Fendley, and Micheal (Sandy) McDonald; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Career and Interests

Shelba was a retired postal worker and businesswoman. She enjoyed travel, cooking, and sewing.

Services

A graveside service will be held at Good Hope Cemetery at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Flowers can be delivered to Good Hope Baptist Church Arbors.
