In Memoriam: Thomas N. Milinovich

Beloved Husband, Father, and Friend

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas N. Milinovich, a beloved husband, father, and friend. Thomas passed away peacefully on July 31, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Thomas was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on January 1, 1945. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary Milinovich. Thomas graduated from Penn State University in 1967 with a degree in engineering. He went on to work for a major defense contractor for over 30 years, where he made significant contributions to the development of several important weapon systems.

Thomas was a devoted husband to his wife, Mary, of 55 years. He was a loving father to his two children, Thomas Jr. and Anne Marie. Thomas was also a proud grandfather to his four grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Matthew, and Sarah.

Thomas was a kind and compassionate man who always put others before himself. He was a faithful member of his church and a volunteer in his community. Thomas loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the piano.

Thomas will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a true gentleman and a role model for all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Services

A memorial service for Thomas will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
