Online Email Generation Tool

The Online Email Generation Tool builds email addresses in one set format from two name lists you upload. Give it a .txt file of first names and a matching .txt file of last names, pick a domain and a separator, and this Online Email Generation Tool pairs the names line by line and writes one address per pair, ready to copy.

How to use the Online Email Generation Tool

  1. Prepare two plain text files, one name per line. Load the first names with “Upload First Names (.txt)” and the last names with “Upload Last Names (.txt)”. The two files must have the same number of lines.
  2. Choose a domain in “Select Domain”: @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @outlook.com, @microsoft.com, or “Custom Domain”, then type your own domain in the box that appears.
  3. Choose a joining mark in “Select Separator”: none, a dot (.), a dash (-), or an underscore (_).
  4. Click “Generate Emails”.
  5. Read the addresses in the output box. Click “Copy to Clipboard” to copy the whole list, or “Format as Comma-Separated” to show the addresses in one line, split by commas.

Each address joins the first name and the last name from the same line number, all in lower case: line 1 with line 1, line 2 with line 2, and so on down both files.

Worked example

First names file, one per line: John, Maria, Alex. Last names file, one per line: Smith, Garcia, Brown. Domain: @gmail.com. Separator: dot.

The tool returns three addresses, one per line: john.smith@gmail.com, maria.garcia@gmail.com, and alex.brown@gmail.com. It pairs names by line number. It does not mix every first name with every last name, so three pairs make three addresses, not nine.

Example results

Each row uses a real name pair with the settings shown, and gives the exact address the tool writes.

First and last nameSettingsAddress
John Smith@gmail.com, dotjohn.smith@gmail.com
Maria Garcia@example.com (custom), no separatormariagarcia@example.com
Sara Lee@yahoo.com, underscoresara_lee@yahoo.com
Tom Hill@outlook.com, dashtom-hill@outlook.com

Before you use a generated list for real team addresses, check it against your own records. The tool follows your files exactly, so a name spelled two ways, or a pair placed on the wrong line, will produce an address in that same wrong form.

Limits and good to know

  • The two files must have the same number of lines. If the counts differ, the tool stops with a message and makes no addresses at all.
  • Names pair by line number only. The tool never creates every possible mix of first and last names.
  • Every address is written in lower case. There is no option to keep capital letters, add numbers, or change the order to last name first.
  • Names are used exactly as typed. A name with a space or an accent goes into the address as-is, which can produce an address that mail systems will not accept.
  • The tool only writes addresses in the format you pick. It does not create real mailboxes, and it does not check whether an address exists or belongs to anyone.
  • A custom domain is used exactly as typed. Type the @ sign yourself, as in @example.com, or every address will be missing it.

Why is my result empty or wrong?

“Please upload both files and select a domain.” appears: a file is missing, or you chose Custom Domain but left the domain box empty. Add both files and a domain, then click “Generate Emails” again.

“The number of first names and last names must match.” appears: the two files have different line counts. Make both files the same length, keeping each matching pair on the same line number in each file.

Addresses have no @ sign: the custom domain was typed without one. Retype it in the form @yourdomain.com and generate the list again.

The output box is empty or an address looks odd: blank lines in the files are skipped, and names are copied exactly as written. Check both files for empty lines, extra spaces, or spelling mistakes, then run the tool again.

Why use this Online Email Generation Tool?

It saves slow, error-prone typing when a whole team needs addresses in the same company format, and it keeps every address consistent: same separator, same domain, all lower case. It is also handy for building neat sample address lists to test sign-up forms, imports, and spreadsheets, without inventing each address one by one.

Online Email Generation Tool – frequently asked questions

Does the Online Email Generation Tool create every combination of names?

No. It pairs names by line number: line 1 with line 1, line 2 with line 2. Both files must have the same number of lines.

Do the addresses it makes really exist?

Not unless the domain owner has set them up. The tool only writes addresses in a chosen format; it does not create mailboxes or check that an address is real.

Can I use my own company domain?

Yes. Choose Custom Domain and type it with the @ sign, such as @example.com, then pick a separator, or none, to match your company format.

Are my name lists uploaded to a server?

No. Your files are read in your browser on this page, and the addresses are built there. Nothing is sent to or stored on a server.
