Police say several pedestrians were injured after a taxi struck them in Herald Square.
Multiple pedestrians were injured on Christmas Day in Midtown Manhattan after being struck by a taxi, according to police. The incident occurred just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of 34th Street and Avenue of the Americas, when a taxi mounted the sidewalk. Six people were injured in total, including a mother and son.

Three victims were reported to be in stable condition. One person was transported to Cornell Medical Center in serious condition, while two others were taken to Bellevue Hospital, also in serious condition. No further details were released by police.
