When Clearlake officers showed up at a complex near Edgebrook and 45, they found a teenage girl who had been shot, according to Houston police.
HOUSTON — A 13-year-old girl was shot Tuesday in southeast Houston. according to the police.
The Houston Police Department tweeted about the shooting around 9:30 p.m., but it’s unclear when it actually happened.

HPD officials said Clear Lake police arrived at the scene and found the 13-year-old girl who had been shot. Police said the boy was taken to a local hospital and that she was in stable condition.
Police said the boy, the man, the man’s girlfriend, and the girlfriend’s mother were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.
According to investigative sources, the man and his girlfriend’s mother got into an argument and the man pulled out a gun and opened fire. They said he missed her mother but beat her little girl.
Police said the man left the scene.
Police say the girl is safe.
