Beware New York, California is coming for you.

The Ranch Malibu, the stars’ favorite health and wellness retreat, just announced plans to open a new resort 45 minutes outside of New York City next summer.

Located along the border of Sloatsburg and Tuxedo Park, The Ranch Hudson Valley marks the third location for the luxury health and wellness retreat. Set among 200 wooded acres on a 40,000-square-foot estate known as the Table Rock Estate, the lakefront estate was built in 1902 by J.P. Morgan for his daughter as a wedding gift when she married Alexander Hamilton’s great-grandson, according to the press release.

“We wanted to respect and meet the ongoing demand from our East Coast guests to open a home closer to them,” said The Ranch founder and CEO Alex Glasscock. Given its idyllic location, we also hope it will become the perfect destination for corporate groups seeking a more health-oriented approach to their offsite retreats, meetings and incentive travel programs.”

Some of the features and amenities include a 5,000-square-foot solarium and an outdoor pool for water activities that are incorporated into the fitness programs during the summer months.

The year-round retreat offers a variety of programs for guests. Available Monday through Thursday, The Ranch 3.0 will feature a three-day program that provides what the retreat calls a “softer immersion” into their signature program. The Ranch-lite will feature a later wake-up time and an active daily schedule of four hours of low-impact exercise — centered around a breathtaking two-hour walk (compared to the regular four) each morning.

The Ranch 4.0 program is the more strenuous option and includes a four-day weekend reset offered Thursday through Monday. Features of this long weekend include an active daily schedule with no options, including six hours of low-impact exercise and breathtaking and the Ranch’s signature four-hour hike each morning.

Both programs include an afternoon nap, strength training, restorative yoga and a daily massage. As with Malibu, the Hudson Valley menu will feature a nutritious, plant-based diet, and many of the ingredients will be harvested from an on-site organic garden or supplied by local, organic farms.

For the intrepid guests who want to go it alone, The Ranch Private is available and offers a very individualized program apart from the larger group. In addition, corporate groups can take advantage of the intimate setting to create a personalized and customizable, health-focused experience for employees or customers.

“As the demand for wellness travel continues to grow, The Ranch offers the Hudson Valley an opportunity to diversify our programming,” Glasscock said. “Regardless of the program they choose, guests can embark on a path to better health and achieve profound physical and mental improvements in their overall well-being.”
