Three Kings Day Parade Launches at El Museo!

El Museo del Barrio in East Harlem celebrated the 47th annual Three Kings Day parade on Monday morning. Beginning at 106th Street, the vibrant procession snaked through the neighborhood’s streets, culminating at 115th Street and Park Avenue. This beloved Latino holiday commemorates the biblical story of the three Wise Men’s visit to the infant Jesus.

This year’s parade theme, “The Arts Open Paths: Celebrating the Transformative Power of the Arts,” highlighted the crucial role of Latinx, Caribbean, and Latin American art in fostering cultural connections and uplifting communities. Attendees enjoyed a festive atmosphere filled with live music, dazzling costumes, and a large number of enthusiastic marchers.
