HOUSTON — Three people have recovered after being stabbed by a man during a family gathering, according to Houston police.
It happened before 11:30 pm on Saturday Willow Creek Apartments upon office city drive Near South Loop and Gulf Freeway.
During a family gathering, a drunken man living in an apartment complex began to woo his wife, police said. The man got into an argument and left, but he came back with a knife.
The man then stabbed three men at a gathering after another altercation.One of the men was stabbed several times in the chest and face, police said. He was taken to hospital in critical condition. A second man was also stabbed in the side of his chest and taken to hospital. A third man was stabbed in his hand and was treated on the spot.
Police said the man was arrested and the stabbing knife was recovered. A stabbing investigation is underway.
