A woman was fatally shot on New Year’s Eve in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Tuscaloosa Police and the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene at 8:37 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31st, in the 2400 block of Joyce Lewis Lane. VCU Captain Marty Sellers confirmed that the woman’s death is being investigated as a probable homicide.
