In Memoriam: William J. Hughes

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William J. Hughes on May 22, 2023.

Remembering William

William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known for his kind heart, his quick wit, and his love of life.

William was born in New York City on January 1, 1945. He graduated from high school in 1963 and went on to attend college at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a degree in engineering.

After college, William worked as an engineer for a number of years before starting his own business. He was a successful businessman and was able to provide a comfortable life for his family.

William was a devoted husband to his wife, Mary, and a loving father to his three children, John, Mary, and William Jr.

Legacy

William’s legacy will live on through his family, his friends, and the many people whose lives he touched.

In memory of William, we encourage you to plant a living memorial. A tree, a flower garden, or a donation to a charity in his name would be a fitting tribute to his life.
