Zachary Ty Bryan, the former “Home Improvement” star, was arrested on January 1st in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on charges of second-degree domestic violence. According to a police report obtained by TMZ, officers responded to a call around 7 PM. The alleged victim, an unnamed woman who shares a child with Bryan, reported that he had punched her repeatedly in the face, choked her until she struggled to breathe, and threatened to kill her. The report details injuries consistent with the woman’s account.
Bryan’s mug shot showed apparent cuts on the left side of his face. He was initially held on a $10,000 bond but was released Friday night around 8 PM. This is not Bryan’s first encounter with the law; he has previous arrests for domestic violence (July 2023) and DUI (February 2024).
TMZ has reached out to Bryan for comment, but has yet to receive a response.
