Favorite Debriefs of 2024
Robertson shares his favorite debrief: a discussion on a research paper claiming the US could eliminate all Chinese and Russian nuclear launch facilities within two hours using conventional weapons. They interviewed researchers and a US intelligence officer, demonstrating their ability to explain complex topics to a wider audience.
Baker’s favorite debrief focused on Warriors Ethos, a veteran transition program. He highlights the inspiring work they do, including supporting individuals who may not typically seek such assistance.
Spencer chose the Ingest Euro NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training program in Texas. He emphasized the unique collaboration between 14 NATO countries, overcoming language and cultural barriers to achieve a common goal.
Piteo selected the episode on additive manufacturing (3D printing of metal parts). He found it fascinating how this technology could revive older military technology and reduce costs while having potential real-world applications.
Favorite Weapons of the Week
Piteo’s favorite “Weapon of the Week” was a promo video for the Earl’s Launch Arsenal, showcasing the simplicity and efficiency of their missile designs.
Spencer’s choice was Heaven Drones’ hydrogen-powered drones, highlighting the potential of using hydrogen as a sustainable fuel source.
Baker selected the Army’s Multi-Functional Reconnaissance Company (MFRC), emphasizing the importance of equipping soldiers with the right tools for modern warfare.
Robertson’s pick was the Enforce Air Two drone tracking and takeover technology, a timely selection given recent drone incidents.
