With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy Scott Knutson, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and entrepreneur. Tim passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 25th, 2024, at the age of 62.

A Life of Endeavor and Accomplishment

Born on November 14th, 1961, Tim embarked on a life marked by determination, hard work, and a passion for his craft. Following in the footsteps of his father, he became a skilled engineer and machinist. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Tim established his own business, where he poured his heart and soul into his work.

A Devoted Family Man

Beyond his professional endeavors, Tim’s true passion was his family. As a single father, he raised six children with unwavering love and support. He was a constant presence in their lives, guiding them with wisdom and nurturing their dreams.

A Legacy of Laughter and Love

Tim’s personality was as colorful as the stories he shared. Known for his sharp wit and Norwegian sense of humor, he had a knack for making people laugh. His ability to bring joy to those around him left an enduring mark.

Service Details

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, at Strang Funeral Home (1055 Main St., Antioch, IL 60002) from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Lutheran service will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

Timothy Scott Knutson leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and unwavering character. His memory will forever be cherished by his six children: Korin Waltersdorf, Amy Knutson, Timothy Knutson Jr., Kara Brown, Amber Knutson, and Kevin Knutson; his five grandchildren; his four siblings; and his three half-siblings.
