Obituary of Anne J. “Nancy” Turcotte

Anne J. “Nancy” Turcotte, 85, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

Nancy was born on September 29, 1938, in Lowell, Massachusetts, to Ernest and Mabel (Toohey) Turcotte. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1956 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Plastics Engineering from Lowell Technological Institute.

Nancy had a successful career in engineering and human resources. She worked as a Materials Engineer for Raytheon and then spent a decade working in hospitality in Germany. After returning to the United States, she worked as the Director of Human Resources for General Electric in New York City.

Nancy was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her brother, Edward W. “Ted” Turcotte and his wife, Ann; her nephews, William E. Turcotte II and his wife, Karen, and their daughters, Kelly and Jamie; Stephen B. Turcotte and his wife, Grace, and their daughter, Riley; and her nieces, Suzanne E. Turcotte and her son, Colton, and Kristin H. Mahoney and her husband, Henry.

Nancy was predeceased by her brother, Dr. William E. Turcotte and his wife, Joan.
