Eleanor (Ellie) Dunn

Eleanor (Ellie) Dunn, 77, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024, in Fort Myers, FL, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Ellie was born in Lowell, MA, to the late Louis Morin and Jeannette Lamoureux. She was also dearly loved and raised by her stepmother, Albertha McGaunn. Ellie was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Lois Page.

Ellie is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Bud Dunn, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and laughter. Ellie was the loving mother of Doreen Berube (Thomas Berube) of Wilton, NH, Tammy Stevens (Scott Stevens) of Hudson, NH, and Jeff Dunn (Debbie Dunn) of Raymond, NH.

Ellie is survived by her sister-in-law Marie, whose husband Gerald is deceased. She has many nieces and nephews.

Ellie found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to AJ, Becky, Tommy, Jerry, Tabitha, Shayla, Kelly, and Tristan. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Ellie, Evie, Izabel, Huxley, Sawyer, Christopher, and Haley.

Growing up in Lowell, MA, Ellie developed a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. She successfully ran businesses such as NE Wholesale Imports in the 70s and 80s and later found success with an eBay business during her retirement. Ellie also held the esteemed position of International Purchasing Manager at Smartdisk for many years.

In her leisure time, Ellie enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She and Bud were renowned for their love of camping and summer beach trips, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

Ellie’s unwavering spirit, infectious laughter, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
