What this tool does

How to use it

How to read the results

The output is your text with linked appendix references and back links at appendix headings, in reading order. References to appendices that do not exist in the paste stay as plain text, so a missing link always means a missing or mismatched appendix heading.

Do not treat the output as a final answer. It is a starting point for your own reading. Skim the highlighted parts first, then read the full passage around anything that matters for your work. A tool can point at the likely important sentences, but only you can judge whether they are actually important for your question.

Honest limits

The tool recognises only the Appendix-letter pattern, not numbered appendices, supplementary files, or online supplements, which live outside the pasted text by nature. It also cannot link references that describe an appendix by title rather than letter. For a published paper, the publisher’s own appendix links, where they exist, remain the better route.
