Bigg Boss 18: Rajat Dalal's mother criticizes Karan Veer Mehra for mentioning her son's past.

The family week in Bigg Boss 18 provided a potent cocktail of emotion, as contestants were reunited with their loved ones. One particularly poignant moment involved Rajat Dalal’s mother, who entered the house to confront Karan Veer Mehra. Her visit stemmed from Karan’s repeated discussion of Rajat’s legal issues and past, causing considerable distress. She specifically took issue with a comment made by Karan, deeming it unacceptable.

Upon her arrival, Rajat’s mother greeted the housemates, even requesting a coffee from Vivian Dsena, before turning her attention to the ongoing conflict between Rajat and Karan. While Rajat initially tried to deflect the confrontation, urging his mother to avoid revealing too much about his personal life, Karan responded with a sincere apology, folding his hands in deference. He admitted to being harsh towards Rajat at times.

Despite acknowledging the competitive nature of the show, Rajat’s mother expressed her strong disapproval of Karan bringing up Rajat’s past during their arguments. She firmly stated that such personal details were irrelevant to the house issues and shouldn’t impact Rajat’s performance. She directly refuted a previous statement made by Karan, saying, “You said your parents are ashamed of you; that’s absolutely untrue.”

Karan, while accepting responsibility for his actions and apologizing again, also offered his perspective. He explained that, as a sort of big brother figure to Rajat, he felt it was necessary to sometimes be firm with him. He used a personal anecdote, recounting how his own mother’s temporary silence during a challenging period helped him see the error of his ways.

Meanwhile, last week saw the elimination of Sara Arfeen Khan. This week’s nominations include Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh, Shrutika Arjun, Chaahat Pandey, and Kashish Kapoor.
