On New Year’s Eve, a shooting in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn left four people injured. The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. at 105-19 Flatlands 4th Street. Police reported that a 23-year-old victim sustained gunshot wounds to the head and foot, while a 44-year-old victim was shot in the abdomen. Two additional men, aged 20 and 25, suffered facial injuries from being struck with a firearm.
All four victims were transported to Brookdale Hospital and are listed in stable condition. Authorities described two male suspects, both wearing ski masks, fleeing the scene in a vehicle. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
