Born on August 27, 1937 in Greeley, Colorado, Carl Buel O’Loughlin was the son of Buel and Ines (Milani) O’Loughlin. He attended St. Francis De Sales High School in Denver and Colorado State University.

Carl proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1959. He was stationed on the USS Midway CV-41.

After completing his military service, Carl worked as Head Surveyor for the Colorado Department of Transportation. He lived in various cities throughout Colorado, including Loveland, Trinidad, Pueblo, and Denver.

In 1963, Carl married Carolyn Belsh in Denver. The couple had two children, a daughter, Tamara, and a son, Robert. Carl was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Carl is survived by his wife, Carolyn; daughter, Tamara Sue (Daniel) Clang; son, Robert (Laurel) O’Loughlin; grandchildren, Matthew, Renee, Timothy, Jonathan, Benjamin Clang, and AnnaMarie and Warren O’Loughlin; and sister, Diane Arbogast.
