Terry Purvis-Smith, a beloved resident of the community, passed away peacefully in 2024 at the age of 81.
Terry was born in 1943 and lived a long and fulfilling life. Terry’s life was filled with love and laughter, and those who knew them will forever cherish the memories they have together. Terry was known for their kindness, compassion, and unwavering spirit. They were a true friend to many, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear.
Terry’s legacy will live on through their family and friends. They were a devoted spouse, parent, and grandparent, and they will be deeply missed by all who knew them.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on July 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Kirk of Bonnie Brae United Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the University of Colorado Hospital Foundation.

Terry Purvis-Smith is survived by their spouse, children, grandchildren, and extended family. They were a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder and had a successful career in the field of education. Terry was also an accomplished musician and enjoyed spending time with their family and friends.
Terry’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the University of Colorado Hospital for their compassionate care during Terry’s final days. They would also like to thank their friends and community for their love and support during this difficult time.
