Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Lee LeBlanc, a cherished member of the Embden community. Donna passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023, at the age of 76.

Donna was born and raised in Embden, where she lived her entire life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Donna was predeceased by her husband, John LeBlanc, and her parents, William and Mary Smith. She is survived by her children, David LeBlanc of Embden and Susan LeBlanc of Waterville; her grandchildren, Emily LeBlanc of Boston and Matthew LeBlanc of Portland; her sister, Jane Smith of Winslow; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A funeral service for Donna will be held later. Arrangements are under the care of Giberson Funeral Home in Embden.

Community Remembers

The Embden community is deeply saddened by the loss of Donna LeBlanc. She was a kind and caring person who was always willing to help others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Embden Food Bank in Donna’s memory.
