Diljit Dosanjh, the popular Punjabi actor and singer, began 2025 with a memorable meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Dressed in a sharp all-black pantsuit, Dosanjh presented the Prime Minister with a poster commemorating his electrifying “Dil-Luminati” India tour. Videos later surfaced online showing Dosanjh’s return to Mumbai, where he was warmly greeted by a throng of enthusiastic fans eager for selfies. The singer graciously obliged, his calm demeanor further endearing him to his admirers.

Dosanjh subsequently shared his delight on X (formerly Twitter), describing the meeting as “very memorable” and noting conversations encompassing various topics, including music. Prime Minister Modi echoed these sentiments, tweeting about their “great interaction” and praising Dosanjh’s multifaceted talents, blending tradition with contemporary appeal. He highlighted their shared discussions on music and culture.

Dosanjh’s “Dil-Luminati” tour, culminating in a New Year’s Eve performance in Ludhiana, Punjab, was a significant success. The two-month tour, which began in Delhi on October 26th, traversed major Indian cities including Mumbai, Indore, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Guwahati. Adding to the tour’s star power, several Bollywood celebrities, such as Deepika Padukone, Dia Mirza, Dulquer Salmaan, and Kartik Aaryan, made surprise appearances at various shows.

On the professional front, Dosanjh is gearing up for the release of “Border 2,” alongside Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty, and Varun Dhawan. He also has “No Entry 2,” directed by Boney Kapoor, in his upcoming projects.
