Donnie Dean Robinson, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, in Castle Rock, Colorado. He was 82 years old.

Born on January 29, 1942, in Elk City, Oklahoma, Donnie was the son of Olen and Maxine Robinson. He was raised in Oklahoma and later moved to Castle Rock, where he spent the majority of his life.

Donnie was a devoted family man who cherished his wife, Henrietta, and their children Tony, Greg, and Jennifer. He was also a loving grandfather to Natalie, Nicholas, and Ella. Donnie was a kind and gentle soul who always put others before himself. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his immediate family, Donnie is survived by his sister, Brenda Kay Byers; his sister-in-law, Connie Covington; his step-sisters, Evelyn Battiste Pierce and Paula Rhoadamer; his cousins, Stan Bratten and Lyn and Thelma Bratten; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Donnie was a proud graduate of Centennial High School in 1960 and remained connected to his classmates throughout his life. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball and football. Donnie also enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, and camping.

A celebration of Donnie’s life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Donnie’s memory.
