Obituary
Gerald Charles Evans Jr., age 74, of Eagan, MN, passed away on May 11, 2024, surrounded by loving family, including his children, grandchildren, and siblings. Jerry was born on December 24, 1949, to Beverly and Gerald Sr. in St. Paul, MN.
Jerry was raised in Roseville and graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School, now Roseville High School. He then went on to join the United States Army and was active in serving our country for 17 years.
Jerry began his 40-year career working as a clerk for Hennepin County in the Child Support office until retiring in 2008. He married the love of his life, Marsha, in 1977 and celebrated their love until her passing in 2015.
Family and Friends
Jerry was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was survived by his two children, Melissa (Ty) and Michael; three grandchildren, Isabella, Lucas, and Ethan; two siblings, brother Jim (Linda) and sister Mary Jo (Dean); and a large family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha; mother, Beverly (Fred); and father, Gerald Sr. (Marcie).
Celebration of Life
Please join us in celebrating Jerry on May 29th, 2024, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church (located at 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road in Apple Valley, MN 55124).
