In Memoriam: Gail Stafford Jacobson

Gail Stafford Jacobson, 76, passed away peacefully in her home with her husband Greg, her husband of 53 years, and their daughter Melinda by her side. Gail will be fondly remembered for her gentle spirit and unwavering love for her family.
Early Life and Marriage
Gail was born in Collins, Georgia and was living in Savannah, Georgia when she met Greg, a Marine Corps pilot. Their love story began with a three-month courtship, and they were soon married. For the next 22 years, Gail embraced the challenges and rewards of being a Marine Corps pilot’s wife, making lasting friendships at every duty station.
Legacy of Love
Gail and Greg raised three loving children: Shawn, John, and Melinda. She was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart. Gail’s legacy of love will continue to inspire and comfort her family for generations to come.
Community Involvement
Gail was an active member of Grace Bible Church of Chico, CA, where she made many lifelong friends. Her faith was a pillar of strength and guidance throughout her life.
Memories and Memorials
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Grace Bible Church (Benevolent Fund) or the charity of choice. A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery outside Orland, CA.
