Judith Ann Schieck, 88, of Antioch, Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024.
Judith was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 17, 1935. She resided in Columbus, Indiana, Lake Forest, Illinois, and Lake Bluff, Illinois, before settling in Antioch in 2004.
Judith was an artist for many years at Badger Airbrush in Skokie, Illinois. She also served as a substitute art and physical education teacher at Antioch Community High School in Antioch. Her retirement came in 2017.
Judith enjoyed horseback riding and playing bridge but found particular joy in pursuing her artistic passions.
Judith is survived by her son, Brian Schieck; grandchildren, Lauren, Hilary, Skye, Britt, Kyle, and Mariah; sisters, Sylvia McCauley and Sandy Miller; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy and Dorothy Bingham; husband, Robert “Bob” Schieck; daughter, Pamela Hansen; and son, Douglas Schieck.
Funeral services and interment will be private for family members and close friends.
Those wishing to honor Judith’s memory may make donations to a local arts organization or charity of their choice.

Judith was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her artistic spirit and kind heart will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
