Lakeville, MN – Karen Ann Kelleher (nee Judge), 80, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Karen lived a full and vibrant life marked by her unwavering passion for learning, creativity, and spending quality time with those she cherished.
Early Life and Family
Karen was born on August 8, 1943, in Minneapolis, MN, to Christy and Delores Judge. She grew up in a close-knit family with four siblings: Gail (Robert) Baker, Gregg (Patricia), Kirby (Judy), and Chris Judge. Together, they formed a strong bond that would last throughout their lives.
A Passion for Learning
Karen possessed an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a deep appreciation for the arts. She was an avid reader and spent countless hours exploring diverse literary worlds. Her passion for learning extended beyond books as she regularly visited museums to immerse herself in history, culture, and art.

Her grandchildren, Devin Smith, Hannah Smith (significant other, Graham Sullivan), Tarra (Kyle) Schnaible, Spencer Angle, and Kelly (Shawn) Cope, brought immense happiness to her life. Karen also cherished the time spent with her great-grandchildren, Brantley, Mason, Brooks, Logan, Bryson, Amaya, and Katie.

Visitation and Interment
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 4-6 PM at the White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave S., Burnsville (952-894-5080). Her final resting place will be at Lebanon Cemetery, Apple Valley.
