LowellKim McTighe

LowellKim McTighe was born in Biddeford, Maine, on October 10, 1960. He grew up in California and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. He then attended the Kansas Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Mr. McTighe served as Director of Recreational Therapy at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lenexa, Kansas, Horizon Healthcare Indian Creek Nursing Centers, Overland Park, Kansas, and Greenery Extended Care Center, Beverly, MA. In recent years, he enjoyed being a product reviewer for Amazon.com.

Kim had a lifelong interest in pet animals. As a youngster, the family would vacation in Connecticut and his pet ducks, Ping and Pond, would travel with him. He always had a home with at least one pet dog.

Kim is survived by his father, Roger McTighe of Bonita, CA, his sister MaryKris Norris of CA, and beloved friends, Eugene Belle of Lowell, Maris Tuite of Lakewood Ranch, FL, and Debra Waltzer of Norwalk, CT. Sadly, he was predeceased by his brother, Scott McTighe.
