Obituary

Eliza Ethel Linnell, 82, of East Benton, passed away peacefully on July 16. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Eliza was born in Waterville, Maine, on January 10, 1941. She grew up in a loving home with her parents and siblings. She attended local schools and graduated from Waterville High School in 1959.

After high school, Eliza met the love of her life, Robert Linnell. They married in 1960 and shared 62 wonderful years together. Eliza and Robert raised three children in their home in East Benton. Eliza was a devoted mother who always put her family first.

Eliza was a hard worker and had a long career as a healthcare professional. She worked as a nurse for over 30 years, caring for patients with compassion and dedication. She was a respected member of the healthcare community and made a positive impact on countless lives.

In her free time, Eliza enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and playing the piano. She was also an active member of her church and volunteered her time to help others.

Eliza will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a kind, caring, and generous person who always had a smile on her face. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral Arrangements

Eliza’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 22, at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in East Benton. A reception will follow the service at the church hall.
