Irene Morris Netherton was born on July 6, 1953, in the loving home of her devoted parents, Andrew Dillard Morris, Sr. and Mary Ellen Williamson Morris. She spent her childhood in a warm and nurturing environment, surrounded by her siblings, Andrew Dillard Morris and Mary Anita Morris. Irene’s childhood memories were filled with laughter, adventure, and the love of a close-knit family.
Irene’s life was forever changed when she met the love of her life, Roy Dean Netherton. They exchanged marriage vows and embarked on a beautiful and enduring journey together. Their union lasted for an incredible 52 years, a testament to their unbreakable bond and unwavering love for each other.
As a dedicated and loving mother, Irene welcomed her cherished daughter, Felicia Brown-Hulsey, into the world. Her heart overflowed with joy as she watched her daughter grow and blossom into the remarkable woman she is today. Irene’s love for her family extended to her son-in-law, Derek Hulsey, whom she welcomed with open arms and showered with love.

Funeral Service Details
Irene Morris Netherton’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. In addition, visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the same location.
Irene’s final resting place will be at Bethlehem West Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with dignity and respect. Cullman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the honor of serving the family during this difficult time.
