Margaret Funderburk, a woman of unwavering faith and boundless love, passed away peacefully in the embrace of her family. Born in Orange, Texas to Willie D. and Helen F. Morgan, she spent her childhood surrounded by the love and support of her siblings: Michael, Pat, Willie D., and Anita. Margaret’s life was tragically marked by the loss of Michael, leaving a lasting void in her heart.

Margaret’s unwavering faith in Jehovah God and his son, Jesus Christ, guided her every step. As a loyal servant of Jehovah, she dedicated her life to studying the Bible, sharing its teachings with others, and living by its principles. Her deep spirituality brought comfort and purpose throughout her life.

In 1968, Margaret’s life took a beautiful turn when she met Terry, the man who would become her soulmate and lifelong companion. Their love story blossomed amidst the shared values of faith and family, and they exchanged vows in a ceremony filled with joy and promise. Together, they embarked on a journey of 52 years, filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support.

A Cherished Mother and Grandmother

As a mother, Margaret’s love knew no bounds. She welcomed two children into the world: Leslie Blankis (Richard) and Dale Funderburk (Becky). Her children remember her as a nurturing, supportive, and unwavering presence in their lives. Margaret’s unwavering love extended beyond her immediate family, encompassing numerous nieces and nephews who held a cherished place in her heart.

Margaret’s legacy of faith and love will continue to inspire her family and friends. She leaves behind a void that will never be fully filled, but her memory will forever bring a smile to their faces and a warm feeling to their hearts. In lieu of cards or flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado, or to the organization of your choice.
