A Devoted Family Man and Active Community Member

On January 16, 1991, he married the love of his life, Vita Sulminaite, with whom he shared 33 years of unwavering love and companionship. Together, they welcomed a daughter, Elena, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to their lives.

George was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Peter Church, where he found spiritual solace and a sense of community. He was also an active member of the Antioch Loyal Order of the Moose, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow members and contributed to various charitable initiatives.

Funeral Services and Interment

Funeral Services with Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Peter Church (557 Lake St., Antioch, IL 60002). Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery East (Antioch, IL).

Visitation will take place at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch (1055 Main St., Antioch, IL 60002) from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM on Saturday.
