The Rosemount community is mourning the loss of a beloved resident, Helen Clarke, who passed away peacefully on June 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Helen’s unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and community has left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew her.

A Devoted Mother and Wife

Helen was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 13, 1953, to Jeremiah and Leora Hogan. Growing up in Janesville, Minnesota, she graduated from Janesville High School in 1971. Her life took a pivotal turn in 1988 when she married Stephen Clarke in Kilkenny, Minnesota. Together, they welcomed two sons, Joseph and Matthew, and built a happy and fulfilling life in Rosemount.

A Dedicated Postal Service Employee

Beyond her role as a mother and wife, Helen was a dedicated and long-serving employee of the United States Postal Service. For over three decades, she worked tirelessly to ensure the delivery of mail and services to the Rosemount community. Her commitment to her work earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike.

A Passionate Gardener and Community Supporter

In her retirement, Helen found solace and joy in gardening. Her beautiful yard was a testament to her green thumb and her love for nature. She also actively supported All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville, where she volunteered her time and resources to various church activities and initiatives. Her faith and community involvement were integral parts of her life.

A Beloved Sister and Aunt

Helen was a cherished sister and aunt. She is survived by her siblings Patricia Reintjes, Michael Hogan, Mary Hogan, Dennis Hogan, and her nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will be deeply missed by her loving family, who remember her infectious laughter, unwavering support, and compassionate spirit.

A Legacy of Love and Service

Helen Clarke’s legacy will live on through her family, friends, and community. Her dedication to her loved ones, her tireless service to others, and her passion for life will forever be an inspiration to those who had the privilege of knowing her. Memorial Service and Condolences

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Helen’s honor at All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 11:00 am. Visiting hours will be held at the White Funeral Home in Lakeville on Monday, June 17th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to Mass at the church. Memorials may be donated to All Saints Church School in Helen’s name.
