Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Larry spent his early years there with his beloved parents, Virginia R. Gregory and Willie P. Eason, and his extended family.

Larry’s journey came to a graceful end on May 16, 2024, leaving behind a tapestry of precious memories. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of countless individuals.
Survived By
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Gail Eason; children Jennifer Duncan (Marc), Michelle Walkup, and Robert Walkup (Tina); grandchildren Tommy, Jacob, Tyler, Jonathan, Brandon, Kayla, Haleigh, and Avery; great-grandchild Jensen; cousins Maxine Dean (Robert) and Gregory Otwell; and his furry companions, Zeke and Kade.
Predeceased By
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Eva and Luster Gregory, and grandson Jayden Hilliard.
Memorial Service
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home (2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666). A funeral service will follow from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the same location.
