Teresa Darlene Nichols, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at her home in Hanceville, Alabama. She was 61 years old.
### Personal Life
Teresa was the daughter of the late Bobby Gene and Gail Goodwin. She was lovingly married to Danny Nichols, who preceded her in death.
Teresa devoted her life to her family. She was a dedicated mother to her daughter, Jennifer (Jay) Haddock, and cherished grandmother to her two grandchildren, Blake and Bayleigh Haddock. Teresa also had a close bond with her sisters, Lynn Jennings and Lisa (Kenny) Overton, and her brother, Bobby Michael Goodwin, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
### Character and Legacy
Teresa lived her life with unwavering kindness and compassion. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need, making a positive impact on the lives of those around her. Her memory will be forever cherished by the many people whose lives she touched.
### Funeral Arrangements
A visitation will be held for Teresa at the Moss Service Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, May 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m..
A graveside burial will take place at Beech Grove Cemetery on Friday, May 24, at 2 p.m..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Teresa’s memory to her favorite charity.
