Lindan Jerome “L.J.” Hill, 47, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Bremen, Alabama, due to underlying heart conditions.

Education and Career
Lindan graduated from Eastern High School in Greentown, Indiana, in 1995. He later earned a Bachelor’s degree with Distinction in Anthropology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, in 1999.
After graduating from Wake Forest School of Law in 2004 with a Juris Doctor degree, Lindan practiced law in Birmingham, Alabama, for 20 years.
Recognized as an Outstanding Young Attorney, he represented clients in various fields, including construction litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, prison reform, and civil and estate planning.
Personal Life
Lindan’s children, Lindan Ray and Sadie Hope, were his top priority. He loved playing sports and cooking with them.
He formed lifelong friendships with colleagues and athletes across the United States.
Memorial Services
Visitation will be held:
- At Hanceville Funeral Home in Hanceville, Alabama, on Wednesday, April 10, from 2-4 p.m.
- At Hasler & Stout Funeral Home in Greentown, Indiana, on Saturday, April 13, from 9-11 a.m.
A brief service will follow the visitation in Greentown, with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.
