Obituary

Michele Marie Harshman, a cherished resident of Vallejo, California, passed away peacefully on April 16th, 2024, at the age of 69, after a valiant battle with an extended illness. Her beloved family and friends mourn her passing deeply.

Michele was born into a loving family and raised in a nurturing environment. Throughout her life, she maintained a kind and compassionate spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, unwavering optimism, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.

Family and Loved Ones

Michele is survived by her devoted daughter, Cathy Funk Schillaci, and her cherished grandchildren, Gianni and Aria Schillaci. Her legacy will live on through her beloved sister, Diana Lynn Elledge, and her adored niece, Alicia Elledge, and her daughter, Summer Buckingham. Her nephew, Forest Elledge, will also fondly remember her. Additionally, Michele leaves behind her treasured aunts, Marguerite Kincaid and Betty Herkenrath, as well as her dearest friend, Jeanette Boatman.

Memorial Service

A memorial service will be held in Michele’s honor on Saturday, June 15th, at 11:00 am at Ascension Episcopal Church, located at 2420 Tuolumne Street, Vallejo, California 94589. The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Michele to attend and celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Michele’s preferred charity or to a charity of your choice. Your thoughtfulness will honor her memory and support causes close to her heart.
