Nancy Debra Self, age 68, of Vinemont, Alabama, passed away on April 26, 2024.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Linda T. Seal Wyatt, and father, Warren Taylor Wyatt.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Stephen Self; daughters, Kelley Hamilton and Crystal (Anthony) Foster; sons, Dusty (Amy) Self, Jason (Tonya) Self, and Casey (Nicole) Yocom; sister, Diane Vardaman; brother, David Wyatt; grandchildren, Morgan Wood, Hannah Lynch, Owen Hamilton, Addy Hamilton, Cameron Self, Emmaline Self, and 16 others; great-grandchildren, Kagan Lynch and 16 others.

Professional Life

Debra had a 45-year career as a certified pharmacy technician. She worked in various retail pharmacies in Cullman and Collierville, TN. She retired from Cullman Regional Medical Center in April 2023 after working in the pharmacy department for 14 years. She enjoyed interacting with and assisting people.

Personal Life

Nancy cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, KK. She adored her dogs, Max and Riley, and dearly missed Bullitt and Beau, who preceded her in death. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Alabama football. Her greatest passion was spending time at the beach, where she delighted in the sand, sun, and food.

Visitation and Funeral Information

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Tim Lipsey will officiate. Interment will follow at Cullman City Cemetery.
